Lamborgini Being Used By Italian Police

These days are very interesting. I can tell you I would like to be a police officer in Italy. Why? Well, imagine that italian state police is using Lamborgini Gallardo. Great, isn't it? I know that in some other countries there are also fast cars being used by state police, for example Porsche in Germany, etc. But I think you will agree with me that Lamborghini Gallardo is completely something else, a different league. So let´s have a little look at this police car.
A brand new Lambo was given to the Polizia di Stato by Automobili Lamborghini Spa as a donation. The vehicle has V10 engine producing 500 bhp and has a maximum performance of 190 mph. The car comes in police colors and of course includes a siren and on the roof there are flashing lights. This is the first time ever that Italian police is using Lamborghini.
This supercar will be using the traffic police - polizia stradale on the highway - probably Salerno - Reggio part in Southern Italy. It is equipped with technology able to transmit critical situation informations like road accidents, disasters, fires and other similar situations and also it will be able to transmit in real time images and other info and directly connect to the police database for a check of number plates. There are also a first aid equipments like defibrillator, electrocardiograms, automatic diagnosis of arterial pressure and another one for diagnostication of oxygen and carbon dioxide presence in the blood. The new car will be also used to trasport human organs and plasma in case of transplantation need.
